There's Fun To Be Had

Despite showing preference to European DJs and producers on this blog, that in no way means there's a shortage of talent stateside, especially in New York City. Eamon Harkin is both "the man behind the curtain" and resident DJ at one of Brooklyn's premiere parties, FUN at Studio B. He's DJed alongside some top shelf artists including but definitely not limited to The Glimmers, Joakim, DFA's Tim Sweeney and Juan Maclean, A-Trak, Diplo and even Afrika Bambaataa. He's also remixed both Crystal Castles and Professor Murder. Mixes certainly come and go but I love this one in particular because it's a slap in the face to coma-inducing, homogeneous sets that should be criminalized the world over.
