Anybody who's privy to song-baiting by labels, promoters or the artists themselves, knows for a fact that 95% of their inbox is full of flat out awful, unpolished, pre-emptively released tracks. Deny if you must to keep those free promos coming, but you know I'm right. Despite the latter, it's worth all the sifting and sorting when you uncover an exceptional gem like this one, embedded in a Myspace profile, just begging to be listened to, played out and consequently danced to.

Brothers Mathieu and Damien Brégère, the French producers behind Spitzer, have managed to land themselves on the very top of my "Best Unsigned Talent" list with their as yet unreleased 4-song EP, Rollercoaster. Based in Lyon, home to the annual Nuits Sonores electronic music festival where they graced the stage earlier this year, Spitzer encompass all things wonderful about the current musical climate in France, however they manage to do it with a bit more finesse. Hands down, they're my best find of the year thus far.
